Albert mention #2
From The Guardian: A life of Audrey Hepburn is also in the shops and depicts the star of Roman Holiday and Breakfast at Tiffany's as sleeping with several co-stars, including Albert Finney, while she was married. It also delves into her life in Europe under Nazi occupation and portrays an often lonely figure who allowed herself a piece of chocolate and a scotch each day.

A Good Year: Clips, official site and review
Yahoo! Movies have added several clips from A Good Year, including two featuring Albert:

"Checkmate" -- Uncle Henry (Albert Finney) teaches young Max (Freddie Highmore) about wine over a game of chess.

"Tennis" -- Uncle Henry (Albert Finney) teaches Max (Freddie Highmore) how to learn from his loses.

The official A Good Year website is now online at AGoodYear.com; the site currently has the trailer, film synopsis and photo gallery.

From a review of the film at IGN: Freddie Highmore and Albert Finney are sweet in their father-son roles. In fact, watching the elder Finney play off of the younger Highmore, one wishes that they had been given more screen time.

Albert mention
From an article about Lindsay Duncan's memories of The Royal Exchange: And what an experience artistically! A dazzling range of plays and parts, hugely talented actors being so generous, supportive and fun to be with - Albert Finney putting on film nights for us in the Green Room and Diana Quick effortlessly cooking supper for the whole company.

A Good Year reviews
More reviews of A Good Year; none seem very positive but they do include praise for Albert:

The first 20 minutes are wonderful, thanks to a flashback to Albert Finney as Max’s uncle, former owner of the chateau. (Daily Mail)

And there is a gracious Albert Finney to recommend. He's in co-starring flashbacks spots as the banker's womanizing but loving uncle who teachers his nephew (played by Finding Neverland's Freddie Highmore) a few things about French wine and winning on the tennis court not to mention the business milieu. (Latino Review)

NewsDay has an article about the reaction to A Good Year called 'Great divide for 'Good Year'.

A Good Year at Toronto
A Good Year had it's premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival yesterday and the reviews have started to appear. The Hollywood Reporter has published a not too positive review of the film (read it here), there's no critique of Albert's performance, only the following Albert-mention:

And no one hires Finney to play one scene so you anticipate that Uncle Henry will appear in flashbacks to remind Max of what he has lost.

Jam Showbiz has a write-up of what Russell Crowe said at the A Good Year press conference about making the film.
